Every EPUB that leaves for the stores goes through the same checks. Here they are, for your file. They validate against the public W3C and DAISY standards and explain every error in plain language.

A rejected file is always found out late.

The store rejects the EPUB three weeks after you sent it, with a code and a message quoting a line in a file you did not know existed.

Almost all of those faults can be seen before the file is sent, if you know where to look.

Privacy

Your manuscript is yours. We do not keep it.

All files are deleted within 24 hours at most.

The Word to EPUB converter works inside your browser: the manuscript is not uploaded to any server and not kept.

The validator does need the file: it is validated on servers in the European Union, the report is generated, and the file is deleted when the checks finish.

The report stays available for twenty-four hours at most at a link only you know, in case you want to share it with your typesetter. Then it is deleted too.
